Greetings, dear knitters and crocheters!

I hope your upcoming Holiday season (Is it too early? I just love to think about the season all around the year!) is full of joy and peace. Imagine you're having fun and enjoyable meetings and activities with loved ones. Me? As you guess I am gonna have a pretty busy yet festive season packed with a good deal of sewing and some play time with my dear hubby.

Can you believe we are approaching to the fall soon? Seriously I can't. I have a mixed feelings: I want more of this hectic yet fun summer play time but also love to go back to my regular life that I can knit more. It was such an exciting few months but I am pretty ready for the next chapter of my big book. Actually I am looking forward to it because there are something that I am so~ determined to try out. Here are some.

First, I'd love to try one of those coziness. They seem nicely appropriate as pre-Holiday projects.

Autumn is my favorite season since I can wear lots of those warm knit wears and cuddle toasty blankets. I am so looking forward to knitting and crocheting them soon. (The details are below.)

Second, I need to reorganize my list of Ravelry Groups. How many groups are you in? Actually I am in many groups that I am not so much active any more. I tried but I am facing the reality that I cannot be available for everything I want. I bit off more than I can chew. Time to pick out handful of places that I would truly enjoy. Do you have any groups of recommendation to this not-so-perfect knitter?

Third, and perhaps the easiest one. I need to organize my knitting needles. You might ask. "Soyun, you're the one who came up with the concept of knitting needle storage ideas. How on earth do you need to organize your needles? Aren't they all sorted out already?" Oh, well, it is an irony indeed. Even though I am a maker of knitting needle organizers my needles can be missing from time to time when I am not paying attention enough (I am not perfect. Actually not even close.). Last spring I was knitting all different kinds of projects, from socks, hats, sweaters, to some home deco stuffs. Many sizes of needles were used at the same time and left somewhere... busy sewing season started right away so I had to quickly switch to sewing gear to make more needle cases, yarn bags, and other organizing solutions for you guys. Well, that's how I ended up with my needle cases with almost no needles in. I better find them in my project bags, knitting baskets or somewhere mysterious(?) to put them in the right spot. That way I don't need to frantically look for needles when I need them coming season. This ultimate knitting needle case I recently created would do the perfect job. The extra huge zipper pocket is absolutely my favorite! I throw lots of my notions in one secret place and I love it!

Those three are my most urgent goals I'd like to achieve before the Holiday season. Certainly there are lots of things in my list (I will definitely share with your next time!) but easy and enjoyable things have to go first so I keep being motivated. What about you? Are you planning something that would make your pre-Holiday even more festive? I'd love to hear about it. Don't be shy and show off what you got. I'd love to be inspired by you guys.

Soyun.

Hi Mark,

Thanks for letting me know. I’ve never thought about it. It sounds so interesting. I might want to research further before I really start knitting it. Thanks for the input. I am so glad you did so.

Lettlopi is the proper weight. You will need to apply extra manual twist to the yarn when sewing up. Beautiful, rich colors.
